On a regular single coil pickup, the EQ applied by the manufacturer inevitably affects all strings. This is not ideal, as each string requires a different frequency boost to show its full potential. For example, a boost centered around 100hz might sound great on the E string but is not ideal for the D or G strings. Our Multi-Coil design eliminates this drawback by applying a different frequency boost on each string for both Bass and Treble.

Our models fit standard dimensions for all 4 and 5 String P and J Style Basses (Jazz, Precision and Soapbar).

Our pickups use 2 x CR123A batteries and battery life is around 800–1000 hours.

The pickup was designed with easy installation in mind. Installation should take only 5–10 minutes and just a screwdriver is required. You may refer to our installation video for more details.
