Humbucker multi-coil pickup. Each coil features a different resonant and highcut frequency for every string.
Each string has its own extremely low noise preamplifier with an easily accessible, independent volume trimmer. The Bass Boost knob, thanks to four suitably tuned MFB filters, amplifies the ideal center frequency for every string, mixing up a super powerful yet crystal-clear low end.
The Parametric Middle Boost EQ, sweepable from 240 to 640 Hz, has four boost positions with the valuable capability of simultaneous gain reduction. It boosts middles while keeping the output volume at the same level. The whole circuit is powered from two CR123A batteries through an 5Volts ultra-low noise voltage regulator, with a power consumption of 1,35 mA giving a service life of about 1000 hours. The output impedance is about 2750 Ohms, due to a 2,7k resistor in series with the output, mainly for protection reasons.
